The PTR 3.1 Ulduar Raid Schedule from March 19-22 is now available to test the bosses after the recent build 9704. The trash mobs are now enabled. Make sure to report any bugs with those too. Boss loot is enabled, except for some trash mobs. Read the short FAQ at the bottom.
Here’s the current schedule for Ulduar PTR testing:
On the North American test realms:
Kologarn – Thursday Night, March 19, starting at 7pm EDT/4pm PDT.
Mimiron – Friday Night, March 20, starting at 7pm EDT/4pm PDT.
Iron Council – Saturday Night, March 21, starting at 7pm EDT/4pm PDT.
Flame Leviathan – Sunday, March 22, starting at 2pm EDT/11am PDT.
On the European test realms:
Freya – Thursday Night, March 19 at 19:00 CET.
Mimiron – Friday Night, March 20 at 19:00 CET.
Auriaya – Saturday Night, March 21, at 19:00 CET.
Flame Leviathan – Sunday Night, March 22, starting at 19:00 CET.
This schedule could change at a moment’s notice due to server, bug, or patch status. I’ll try to keep everyone informed as much as possible. Ulduar and the bosses to be tested will remain also open a variable length of time. How long they stay open depends upon a host of factors including designer availability, bug status, etc.
We’re very interested in seeing combat logs and parses for all raid testing on the PTR.
Quick Ulduar FAQ:
Q) Where’s all the trash?
A) Trash has now been completed, and players will see the trash associated with each boss during their tests.
Q) Where’s the loot? (UPDATED)
A) All loot should be present, except for some loot on trash creatures.
Q) What about achievements? (UPDATED)
A) We’re still working on achievements, but many of them are now active and functional. Some achievements still have placeholder values.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new promotion partnership between World of Warcraft and Mountain Dew Soft Beverage will hit stores very soon in two flavors: the Wild Fruit and the Citrus Cherry. The Game Fuel edition was announced on April 2007 and featured a higher caffeine content compared to other brands, which fit in line with the marketing goals toward players expecting the release of Halo 3 who planned to play it for many hours straight.
The Game Fuel edition had been absent from the market for a while. Pepsi released the Halo 3 Xbox 360 Limited Edition Mountain Dew: Game Fuel on August 13, 2007. Back then, some gamers would play Halo 3 for three days straight. The promotion campaign ran through 12 weeks, and was removed from the market on November 2007. This really makes me wonder if this promotion has anything to do with the new World of Warcraft expansion that might no doubt be announced on August 2009 at BlizzCon.
These game fuel came on a 20-ounce bottle for a total of 120 milligrams of caffeine per bottle. It would keep people awake indeed.
Coincidentially, it was Citrus Cherry flavored like the Horde Edition. Back then, the nutrition facts for this flavor was an Estimated Percent of Calories from: Fat 0.0%, Carbs 108.2%, and Protein 0.0%.
Total Fat 0g 0%
Saturated Fat 0g 0%
Sodium 65mg 3%

In the near future, you’ll be able to see World of Warcraft characters in a new place—the beverage aisle. This summer, Mountain Dew will launch Game Fuel in two World of Warcraft-inspired flavors—Alliance Blue (wild fruit flavor) and Horde Red (citrus cherry flavor)—available for a limited time only. We’ll be announcing further details in the coming months, so stay tuned.

There are many new additions and changes coming in the near future for World of Warcraft. Alongside the hotly anticipated raid dungeon Ulduar, several new user interface features will be debuting, and Blizzard has put together a preview of them to let you know what to expect when the patch arrives.

Gamespot investigated the rumor that Wrath of the Lich King had been banned by Mainland China government. The original source that cited the big headliner extracted some information from the East Asia Finance blog: JML Pacific Epoch. That article doesn’t mention a ban. In turn, the JML blog cited the chinese-language search engine Sohu, where news about the situation had been posted. What nobody knew when all this emerged is that Sohu stated their source for all of this fabrication was from unnamed sources. What means that the banning was very exaggerated. And didn’t happen at all.
That reminds me of how the economic crisis in USA started. There is CRISIS !!!! And out of nowhere everyone started taking their money out of banks, and they in turn collapsed, which resulted in a chain reaction. Collective hysteria, anyone?
In short, don’t worry. Wrath of the Lich King hasn’t been banned in Mainland China. The Burning Crusade release date suffered a few delays in China, and that was solved by removing skeletons and fleshing the Undead to remove the skeleton areas in their cheeks, ribs and joints. Burning Crusade launched later and there hasn’t been any major problems for said expansion with the Chinese government.
Wrath of the Lich King will come afloat once The9 adjusts the expansion to meet the regulations and law stipulated by the government. Back on November, when Wrath of the Lich King launched, I interviewed Frank Pearce (Blizzard Entertainment Senior Vice-President, and World of Warcraft Executive Producer) during the New York Midnight Launch. Pearce said: “We are still going through the process of iterating on that, working with the different government authorities responsible for that, so we don
