Starting a fresh month, I browsed through eBay to check out what’s the latest hot Blizzard Licensed Products available and what a surprise to see a few of the rarest items among the listings.

The Blizzard-employees-exclusive World of Warcraft 2002 L-Silk Shirt is listed with a Buy it Now button for $429.

The bottom of the shirt reads Blizzard Entertainment and also has the artist’s signature. Justin Thavirat was a World of Warcraft (2004) lead artist and credited as an artist in StarCraft (1998), Diablo (1996), and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness (1995) and their collective expansions. Justin also got a special thanks credit in the South Park (TV Series) Episode: Make Love, Not Warcraft (2006).

Treat the shirt as a piece of artwork rather than as something to wear. Frame it.

The BlizzCon 2008 Sideshow Lich King Helm is listed for $219.97 as a Buy it Now. These were never sold directly by Sideshow Collectibles. These were produced for the BlizzCon 2008 Store at the Anaheim Convention Center. From what I have seen, these helms are similar in size to the Deathling, and fit on your hand and weigh like an apple.

The helm can be dismounted from its display stand.

Diablo III

diablo-iii-treasure-goblin-statue-ebay-2This Blizzard Employee-Exclusive Diablo III Treasure Goblin statue was originally gifted by Blizzard during the 2012 Holiday Season. This item is very popular on eBay with only 4200 created. It has a Buy it Now price of $349 and ends on March 24, 2014 at 11:21pm PDT.

It is made of metal, 10-inches high, and contains two heads: with and without Santa Claus hat. Sculpted by Blizzard Entertainment Sculpting Lead Brian Fay (former McFarlane Toys sculptor). The item is listed as never opened. This is an old photo for reference purposes.

Absolutely a highly-sought statue for any decent self-proclaimed Diablo III fan and collector.

Background and statement from Mr. Thompson former Blizzard employee, current owner and consignor:

During SC2 crunch QA was expanded into the CS building, they moved the artwork from Blizzard HQ to decorate the CS walls on the second floor where we worked. At the end of SC2 QA was moved back to main campus for Cataclysm and we had our private launch party. Part of the party was a raffle and auction, This consisted of some exclusive collectibles and the concept art that was raffled for appreciation of our 6 months of 12 hours a day 6 day a week work schedule. I won the Queen of Blades and Hydrolisk art during the raffle. The Thor artwork was made specifically for SC2 QA it is not one of a kind there are about 70 of these that each person received. The other works are one of a kind made to decorate Blizzard HQ.”
