Golden State Pops Orchestra’s VideoGame Soundtracks Concert Series

This Saturday, April 9, the Golden State Pops Orchestra (GSPO) will be presenting the latest installment of its VideoGame Soundtracks concert series at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, CA, featuring orchestral scores from a variety of games — including music from Blizzard’s own World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. In addition, an exhibition featuring an array of World of Warcraft art will be on display at the Arcade Building (located at 479 West 6th St. in San Pedro, CA) during the San Pedro First Thursday Art Walk on April 7 and again on April 9.

The GSPO presents the next installment in the VideoGame Soundtracks series featuring the Southern California Master Chorale, with prepared video projections of selected game graphics and special guest composers. The ten award winning composers scheduled are; two-time 2011 Grammy winner – Christopher Tin, Wataru Hokoyama, Laura Karpman. Joey Newman, Russell Brower, Gerard Marino, Austin Wintory, Sean Murray, Greg Edmonson and Christopher Lennertz. Get tickets here.

GSPO is also thrilled to announce an exhibition of artwork associated with Blizzard’s World of Warcraft Artwork (provided courtesy of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc, ©2011 Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.) and will be on display at the Arcade Building, located at 479 W. 6th St., San Pedro. This show is also made possible by Arcade building owner, Gary Larson and Gallery Neuartig owner, Beate Kirmse and the show will be open during the April 7th San Pedro First Thursday Art Walk and on Saturday April 9th.
