During the recent PAX East 2014, in Boston, Blizzplanet correspondent Anthony Vaughan interviewed Lead Class Designer Kris Zierhut and Game Designer Steve Burke to ask questions concerning the pre-Warlords of Draenor world event expected to launch sometime toward the end cycle of Mists of Pandaria. They also discuss details of the Garrisons in Draenor.

I have to point out we gathered about twenty questions from the community, and only a couple were asked. Both developers got so passionate about talking of the world event and the initial experience of Warlords of Draenor that they lost track of time and kept going nonstop, and we didn’t mind at all. They truly love their work on this expansion.

Vaughan: First question – What can you tell us about the Mists of Pandaria world event leading to Warlords of Draenor?
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor is officially slated to ship on Fall 2014. PAX East attendees had the opportunity to play the Alpha at the Boston Convention Center’s demo stations. Blizzplanet correspondent Anthony Vaughan has a short interview with the developers (to be posted early this week) where they provided details of the Mists of Pandaria world event leading to Warlords of Draenor. Whether there will be changes to the world of Azeroth with this incoming invasion of the Iron Horde into the present. Stay tuned.

PAX East 2014 was celebrated through April 11-13 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC). Blizzard Entertainment exhibited World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition for the PlayStation 4; and four new heroes and Hi-Res skin previews from Heroes of the Storm.
