Something really wild is going on at the wholesale and retail level within the World of Warcraft action figures market. Diamond Comic Distributor has released its latest sales chart. The WORLD OF WARCRAFT PREMIUM SERIES 1 MASTER CASE ASSORTMENT (JAN090328 ) reached # 3 in the TOP 10 Toys and Statues category.
I say at wholesale level, because this box is usually purchased by action figure shops. The master case assortment contains four Tuskarr and four gnoll figures. If it is selling this good at the wholesale level, it means there’s a high demand of this product at shops around the globe.
With the PTR build 0.2.2.10433 update the World of Warcraft TCG Loot Cards are now redeemable on PTR servers. Go to Booty Bay and talk to Lando Longshot (The Black Flame).

They’re back! After J!NX received the notice from PETA about the murlocs being over-harvested in some areas and getting listed as a threatened species, J!NX decided to curb their capture of the little guys. However, thanks to some innovations made in the biotechnical sector, they’ve succeeded in cloning the murloc, and thus they have become so abundant that they’ve overrun the J!NX Fortress. Go ahead, buy one, you know you want to. Foster one of these orphan Talking Murloc Plush.
When you squeeze them, a Murloc aggro-soundclip plays. A great gift to a husband/wife, brother/sister or friend.

Among the writers heading there I noticed Kevin J. Anderson [which rang a bell]. He wrote Starcraft: Shadows of the Xel’Naga (2001) under the pseudonym Gabriel Mesta. The book is reprinted within the Starcraft Archive TPB.
Almost all hotels are booked, but you may call to see if there are openings. Saying you are booking for DragonCon will get you a special discount rate.
