In World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2.5 the Orgrimmar Embassy and Stormwind Embassy have been changed. The faction leaders are no longer present there. Instead, the Pandaren leaders of the Alliance and Horde are present there for the appropriate embassy.
During the Chinajoy 2019 Q&A session, the Executive Producer & Vice President of the World of Warcraft team — John Hight confirmed that Sylvanas won’t die in Battle for Azeroth. Not much of a surprise considering that in recent expansions Blizzard Entertainment has been using the bait and switch method of not killing the expansion’s main villain, and instead letting them escape or influence the next expansion.
The AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (7nm) CPU launched on July 7, and they are almost gone except for some retailers. From what I am reading out there, online, some people have been buying them in bulk to resell on eBay for far more than the manufacturer suggested price which is around $329. Average tax as low as $33 (depending the U.S. state purchased from). So if you are planning to upgrade into a decent gaming system from scratch, right now is the time before these CPUs are gone at the legit MSRP price.

Razer has announced a must-have revolutionary gaming mouse aimed at MMO and FPS players. The Razer Viper does not use mechanical buttons — which affect response time. Instead, the Razer team has created an optical switch. An internal switch shutter opens when you click, allowing an Infrared beam to pass through. The infrared beam instantly sends a signal, executing the click command. The Razer Viper offers a 0.2ms response time; and provides 99.4% tracking accuracy with up to 16,000 DPI.
This is literally the most essential tool of first-person shooters and MMO players. We need that quick a response to deliver swift combos and finishing commands. No doubt this is why it is aptly dubbed the Razer Viper.
“Every click you make actuates at the speed of light. The Razer™ Optical Mouse Switch utilizes an infrared light beam to register a click, resulting in an industry-leading response time of 0.2 milliseconds. Its instant actuation eliminates debounce and unintended clicks, giving you complete control in execution.”
The Razer Viper features 8 programmable buttons that may be customized via the Razer Synapse 3 app. The DPI toggle button is located beneath the mouse to prevent accidental switching. The mouse is ambidextrous.
You can purchase the Razer Viper now. It ships starting on August 2.
Co-founder and Chief Development Officer Frank Pearce announced he is stepping down his position and departing Blizzard Entertainment. Frank Pearce was a pillar of the original company Silicon and Synapses, Chaos Studios, and what’s known as Blizzard Entertainment as programmer of the original titles that put the company at the top of the headlines and game awards of the time:
The Lost Vikings (1993)
Justice League: Task Force (1995)
WarCraft II: Tides of Darkness (1995)
Norse by Norse West: The Return of the Lost Vikings (1997)
WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002)
WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne (2003)
Alongside the most memorable faces of the company: Mike Morhaime, Chris Metzen, Rob Pardo, Nick Carpenter, Micky Neilson, James Waugh, and many others that fans got used to see in interviews and panels — Frank Pearce will be missed by Blizzard fans. Their combined contributions to our favorite games will be remembered for decades among the legends.
Nazjatar Ally Quests become available after completing the quests Settling In and Save a Friend. The latter also unlocks World Quests in Nazjatar.
After “Save a Friend” you can click the Conch to recruit one of three Ally companions who will fight alongside you each day. These Ally companions may only get experience from the Ally daily quests. There are only 3 of these quests available per day, and reward 100 Experience each. Basically, 1 rank per day.
Ally companions can max up to Rank 30. At that point, each of the three Ally companions that reach level 30 reward a different mount. These are the quests available at different ranks.
With the Eternal Palace defeated, Blizzard Entertainment has made public the Raid’s Finale Cinematic. Azshara lays on the ground as Lor’Themar and Jaina close in for the kill, but Azshara expires with a I-Can’t-Believe-They-Have-Defeated-Me face.
At that moment, a mechanism falls into place, completing the circle circuit. A blast of light explodes outwards, shaking the ground, and the chains that held N’zoth imprisoned are shattered.
A huge eye is seen at the bottom of the prison, and after a flash of light, shadowy tendrils of “smoke?” dart out of the prison, slithering its way toward the platform to grab Queen Azshara’s corpse.
Azshara suddenly comes to life in horror, with a big surprised eyes. Azshara disappears out of view, engulfed by the shadows.
N’zoth proclaims: “All Eyes Shall Be Opened.” Read some points of views about what might come next for Battle for Azeroth, after the break.
Blizzard Entertainment will be at the San Diego Comic Con 2019 at booth 140. I am going to be blunt. I am disappointed. There is no Blizzard Publishing panel at SDCC 2019, and the only Blizzard panel scheduled is for Hearthstone.
Just days after World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2 was released, Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new mount bundle. Purchase a World of Warcraft 6-month subscription, and get the Sylverian Dreamer mount free.
Don’t be fooled by what I just said, however. I paid my 6-month subscription back on May 2019, and out of the blue when I launched the Blizzard Launcher — the gift icon flashed on the top-right to alert me that a new gift was available to claim.
So, if you recently paid a 6-month subscription, you have the Sylverian Dreamer mount awaiting as a gift, most likely.
Those who do not wish to pay for a 6-month subscription, can still obtain the Sylverian Dreamer mount through the World of Warcraft’s in-game Blizzard Shop for $25.
