Travard: We can no longer keep Tyr’s resting place safe, but we must recover the Silver Hand. Tyrosus has lent us a small force to aid in the recovery of the hammer, and some of my order will meet us there as well, but I fear even that may not be enough. I’m glad we’ll have you with us. I will rally these men and women. You should take the portal to Dalaran Crater, then fly to Tirisfal Glades and meet us. I’ve marked the location on your map.
Quest Objectives
Go to Tyr’s Fall in Tirisfal Glades and recover the Silver Hand.
Intermission
Travard: I will prepare our forces to journey to Tirisfal. You can make your way there through the portal to the Dalaran Crater. Find what remains of our brotherhood and rally them at the tomb.
Location: Whispering Forest
STAGE 1: The Empty Camp — Travard’s team is set up in the abandoned Twilight camp. Meet up with him.
Travard: Ah, there you are. We’ve secured the area and found the bodies of our brethren. The hammer is not far from the entrance but we will need to be quick. Even with the Twilight’s Hammer gone I can sense evil coming from the tomb. We will take a small team to lead the way. Aid us as best you can. Let me know when you are ready.
STAGE 2: Clearing the Way — Enter the tomb complex with Travard and get to Tyr’s crypt.
Travard: There is probably still danger within the tomb, curse all the meddlers! If you can keep us up, we will clear the way.
(I’m ready to enter.)
Travard: We will have to swim a little, but it won’t take long.
Travard: Behold the Tomb of Tyr, built by the mighty… wait! What foul monsters are these?! This cannot stand! Destroy the abominations!
Travard: It pains me to see this destruction. I have never seen beyond these doors until now. The Silver Hand is in there, let us go.
STAGE 3: Keeper’s Rest — Tyr’s crypt is overrun with crazed aberrations. Clear them out to begin the ritual.
Travard: Look above you! Our sacred artifact is there, just beyond reach! Before we begin let us clear the room. Let me know when you are ready. Watch yourselves, men! Let’s cleanse this chamber!
Travard: Well done everyone, lets… wait what is that?
STAGE 4: The Broken Ritual — Travald wants to begin the ritual. Aid him.
Travard: At last we can begin. Now we will need to move quickly once the ritual is complete. It will close this tomb permanently once the hammer is in our possession. Something is wrong. One of the globes isn’t working! Blast! It must have been taken, perhaps by one of the crazed monsters. It can only be below and we need it. Whenever you are ready, champion.
STAGE 5: Into the Dark — A critical part of the ritual was taken below. Retrieve the piece.
Travard: Somehow they must have knocked it loose and taken it below. We must venture further into the depths and find it or this has all been for naught.
(I’m ready to enter.)
Travard: Very well. Once we clear an area, reinforcements will secure it. Down we go.
Travard: Argent Crusaders, secure this area! We will press on! I’ll take care of this!
Travard: This chasm oozes darkness… Light protect us! That thing has what we need. Prepare yourselves, friends.
STAGE 6: The Maw of the Beast — The giant aberration has the piece. Slay it and retrieve the piece.
Travard: Destroy the monster! For the Light!
Efrina and Duvall die.
Travard: NO! They are just… gone! You will be remembered.
The Horrific Aberration dies.
Travard: We’ve done it. I’ll get the piece! The monster’s death has made the area unstable somehow.
STAGE 7: Escaping the Prison — Unstable void energies are gathering, follow Travard back up to the crypt before the area is consumed.
Travard: I’m done! We must hurry, we’ve stirred up the energies here!
STAGE 8: Aid to the Fallen — Some of the paladins are wounded or covered in void magic. Free them by cleansing and healing them.
Travard: Our men are down! Help them, I will cover you!
Mordoth the Hunter: Life… to consume…
Travard: Something is coming from the void, something big. We need to move now!
STAGE 9: Something is Coming — Everyone is out of the passage, but something large and malevolent is coming up from below. Run with Travard to the crypt.
Travard: Excellent, and no time to waste, let’s move!
STAGE 10: Ritual Defense — Travard must complete the ritual to unlock the hammer from the wards. Defend the crypt until he is finished!
Travard: Everything is in place, I can complete the ritual! Everyone, defend the tunnel!
Mordoth the Hunter: Why… flee? The Void… inevitable…
Travard: Hold! I am not yet done!
Travard: Almost there… just a few more moments! It is done. Quickly, (name)! The ritual will cause the entire tomb to collapse as a failsafe!
FINAL STAGE: The Silver Hand — The Silver Hand is free. Claim it before Mordoth overwhelms the defenders!
Travard: We have the hammer! Everyone, run! The tomb is collapsing!
Mordoth the Hunter: Your escape… means nothing. Will find you again…
Travard: We… made it. We have the Silver Hand as well. The collapse was part of the failsafe, without the hammer powering the wards, anyone could have opened Tyr’s sarcophagus, desecrated his remains. You wield the Hand well I think. Return to Tyrosus, he will want to hear of our success. I will see you again.
NOTE: Click the Argent Hyppogryph in front of Travard to take you back to Dalaran.
