The Become a Hero, Become a Phasediver achievement unlocks all of the flight paths in K’aresh. The questline’s purpose is to redirect the player who advanced through the K’aresh campaign questline and abruptly stopped at the end of Chapter 3: Desert Power shortly after the patch launched.
At that point, the Soul-Scribe (leader of the Wastelanders) had a progress bar beneath her name counting down to 7 days until Chapter 4: Shadows En Garde is unlocked. The quest tagged as “Important,” with the pink triangle pointing down, alerts players to continue with the new questline: Become a Hero, Become a Phasediver.
Following that first quest leads you to flying to the Overlook Zo’Shuul — a small floating island — where players may access the Phase Diving rewards vendor and the Reshii Cloak upgrade NPC. This content was added in World of Warcraft: The War Within Patch 11.2 Ghosts of K’aresh.

HASHIM
Hashim is a Phase Diving Merchant who sells socketable fibers to add stats to your Reshii Wraps cloak.
RESHII WRAPS (UPGRADES)
Hashim also provides upgrades for your Reshii Wraps cloak. Each upgrade requires Ethereal Strands (a new currency). These are the 5 available upgrades — each costs 3 x Ethereal Strands.

- Secrets of the Depths: Imbue more energy into your Reshii Wraps, enhancing its power. An ethereal presence now lingers in Khaz Algar Delves, revealing secret rooms. You may now find phase orbs that increase your primary stat while Phase Diving. Phase orbs have a chance to recover a Phase-Lost appearance.
- Orbs of Power: Imbue more energy into your Reshii Wraps, enhancing its power. Enemies killed while Phase Diving now have a chance to drop a phase orb that increases your primary stat. Phase orbs have a chance to recover a Phase-Lost appearance. You may now ride Phase-Lost Slatebacks when Phase Diving.
- What Lies Beyond: Imbue more energy into your Reshii Wraps, enhancing its power. You can now see treasures in K’aresh while Phase Diving.
- Regalia of the Reshii: Imbue more energy into your Reshii Wraps, enhancing its power. Unlock the appearances of the Reshii Cowl and Reshii Scrolls.
How do I empower my Reshii Wraps?
Hashim: You imbue your Reshii Wraps with Ethereal Strands. Ethereal Strands await where arcane power surges. Earn them through Delves, Mythic Keystone Dungeons, and PvP matches across Khaz Algar. In K’aresh, you can additionally seek them within the Manaforge Omega and by completing Warrants. Each strand brings you closer to unlocking your true potential.
What is that you do?
Hashim: I am one of a few individuals with the knowledge to enhance one’s Reshii Wraps. For someone like you? I could do some minor add-ons. As a mortal with a physical body, a slightly over-tuned enhancement would tear you to shreds. We don’t want that — you losing your life, and me having to clean up.

Shad’anis sells various rewards, including a pet, mounts, toys, cosmetics, and other utilities, for a new currency known as “Untethered Coin” — awarded from a weekly quest titled: More Than Just a Phase.

Shad’anis: When our world was destroyed by Dimensius and we found ourselves changed into energy, we discovered that the universe is larger than we imagined. Larger and more terrifying. Underneath this plane that you think of as material lies a realm that most ethereals and brokers fear — one that we may all be destined to make our ultimate journey to. We call this realm “Untethered Space.”
Untethered Space?
Shad’anis: Untethered Space is another plane of existence, layered upon the material plane — coterminous with our existence, and nearly out of reach. A being of energy is at constant risk of falling through the cracks of the cosmos into this realm. To do so without prior preparation is to risk never returning. But the Trust is prepared. We can safely mine for its rich reserves of energy, discover relics lost in the destruction of K’aresh, and even find those unfortunates who fell between worlds. The Shadowguard also has knowledge of this plane. It has become much more dangerous to explore, and we need help.
Why would you go to Untethered Space?
Shad’anis: The energy falls out of the material realm, and most of it never returns. Scavengers, predators, and the Shadowguard troll for the remains of creatures and relics from the past. If we were to leave them there, the vital energy of K’aresh would be devoured by the Void. But with our Phase Conduits, we can recover the energies and relics from this plane of existence — and use it to power the eco-domes, and prevent the void creatures growing beyond our control. It is also quite profitable… if you happen to be interested in that sort of thing, mortal.
