Yesterday, during a World of Warcraft gameplay livestream, executive editor at Windows Central Jez Corden responded to a viewer’s question about the unannounced StarCraft game. If he thinks it’s like Hell Divers.

Corden pretty much admitted to having watched this unannounced StarCraft game’s gameplay privately, but he can’t leak “too much.” Damn! If that is not leaking too much, yikes…

I’ve on good authority that this is a single-player story kind of game. Some of the content– I mean, I’ve talked about on the podcast before, and I don’t want to leak too much because we are potentially like so close to the reveal of it, but what I saw, and I think what I saw was like pretty pre-old footage to be fair, but like what I saw was cutscenes, voice acting, photo realistic graphics, the Blizzard stylized high-end graphics, but it didn’t look like Warcraft. Third person combat. It kinda reminded me a bit of Space Marine 2. What I’d imagine a StarCraft shooter to be.

StarCraft and Warhammer 40K have kind of like similar DNA. It isn’t like Hell Divers. I’m pretty sure it’s going to have some kind of Hell Divers mode. This is my speculation, by the way. I’m pretty sure it’s obviously going to have multiplayer stuff in it. It does seem like there’s going to be a full-blown single-player and/or co-op campaign attached to it. From what I’ve heard and what I’ve seen, that’s definitely what it seems like.

I have never played a Warhammer 40K game, so out of curiosity, since Corden mentioned that what he saw looked like Space Marine 2, I hopped onto YouTube to watch a random gameplay walkthrough. Here you go:
