The World of Warcraft: Midnight 12.1.5 Campaign Quests: The Promise of Tomorrow consists of three chapters: What Slept Below, Sins of the Past, and To the Faithful.
In this campaign, after Ula-Tek’s demise, Kith’ix, General of the Black Empire, is freed from prison and is regenerating. His reemergence has awakened his dormant armies throughout the land. The Aqir attacked Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman.
The outskirts of Silvermoon were under attack by the Aqir: ancient creatures that were stirred by the awakening of Kith'ix. Despite the best eforts of Liadrin and Halduron, the aquir stormed Silvermoon itself. The attack was thwarted, but not without casualties. Lor'themar swore to march his army to defeat Kith'ix in Atal'Utek, regardless of the Amani's cooperation.

Kith'ix and the swarms of aqir threaten elf and trollkind alike, but old hatreds run deep even now. After a heated confrontation at Amani Pass, a bargain is struck between Zul'jarra and Lor'themar.
No elven army will march on troll soil. Instead, a small force of elite warriors from both nations shall travel to Atal'Aman alone. There, they will strike Kith'ix at the heart of its domain.
In the wake of Ula'tek's demise, the remnants of the Twilight's Blade have invaded the venom-wreathed island in a last-ditch effort to bring about an apocalyptic end.
The heroes of Quel'Thalas and Zul'Aman must reach Kith'ix, deep below Atal'Utek. But to do that, they must first destroy what remains of the Twilight's Blade.
Having dispatched the remaining fanatics of the Twilight's Blade, the heroes proceed into the unsealed temple. Within, they find not the slithering silence of the Children of Ula'tek, but the whirring drone of an aqir swarm that could devour all of the Eastern Kingdoms if led to feast.
The final confrontation draws near. The heroes must destroy Kith'ix before it rises from its erstwhile grave, or all of Zul'Aman and Quel'Thalas alike will succumb to the all-devouring swarm.
