Patch 3.1.1a – Minor Hotfixes 4-29-09

Blizzard hotfixed two new issues yesterday in Ulduar. Fixes that will be VERY welcome by raid players, including myself.  Auriaya’s Terrifying Screech had a long duration considering how fast a tank can die while healers are under its effects.  It should now have a shorter duration, allowing healers to get back on action barely in time to keep the tank alive. However, there was a trade off to compensate as to not trivialize the entire fight.  The Strength of the Pack damage has been increased. Sonic Screech damage has been reduced—Awesome !!!  It was a headache.

Blizzard Quote:
  • Fixed an issue where Mimiron could randomly change targets while casting P3Wx2 Laser Barrage in phase 4. It is still possible for it to appear that he is turning quickly for an instant to shoot another direction, but this is just a visual bug that will be resolved in a future patch.
  • The Auriaya encounter has received the following changes: the damage of Strength of the Pack has been increased, the duration of Terrifying Screech has been reduced, the damage of Sonic Screech has been reduced, and the damage from Seeping Feral Essence has been reduced.
