With Dragonflight 10.2.5 Seeds of Renewal, the Dragonflights welcome Vyranoth, the Aspect of Storms; and proclaim you the Champion of the Dragonflights.
Shortly about that speech, Alexstrasza sends you to Bel’ameth in Amirdrassil to talk to Tyrande Whisperwind and Shandris Feathermoon. The dialogue triggers a cutscene in which Malfurion returns from Ardenweald. Malfurion and Tyrande hug, and then invite Shandris to join.
Malfurion and Tyrande plan to stay together in Bel’ameth in a sabbatical. Meanwhile, Tyrande steps down her leader role, leaving Shandris as her successor to lead the Night Elves of Kalimdor and those residing in other locations of Azeroth.
This might hint at Shandris’ character growth throughout The War Within, The World Soul Saga, and beyond.
