EVGA announced recently their new EVGA NVIDIA GT 520, a low-end video card with DirectX 11, GeForce CUDA, Blue-ray 3D, OpenGL 4.1 and Physix support.

This graphic card has a 1.4a HDMI, DVI-I and VGA connectors.

The current low-end consumption and desktop graphic card market is battled between the EVGA NVIDIA GT 520 and the AMD Radeon HD 6450. Something I love about EVGA is their 3 years warranty, great tech support and driver updates.

It’s ultimately everyone’s personal choice: NVIDIA or ATI.

According to NVIDIA, StarCraft II and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm take full advantage of the GeForce GT 520. Coming from NVIDIA, sounds like a good choice if you are building a new system, but don’t want to spend more than $100 for a graphic card. The EVGA GeForce GT 520 1024 MB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card Video Card 01G-P3-1523-KR is available for pre-order for $79.80.

Those considering to go for the GT 520 should be aware it requires a motherboard with a PCI Express 2.0 connector.

Meh — I would rather get a high-end graphic card
