According to Hollywood Reporter, it is now official. With the expiration of their 8-year partnership contract, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros have gone their separate ways. Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull recently said a new partner might be decided within the next 60 days.
Legendary Pictures has been preparing for the end of the contract and have secured enough capital to launch its own films. Apparently, the Warcraft film shouldn’t suffer delays due to this situation.
Among the prospects rumored, Legendary has NBCUniversal and SONY. However, other candidates might appear in the next few weeks.
