Blizzplanet: My E3 2017 Experience

Another E3 has come and gone, and while this convention has become fairly routine for me in terms of format and content, I still thoroughly enjoy attending. This year was a little different though as it was the first time the conference was open to the general public, and also the first time I got invited to a major press conference: Microsoft.

E3 2017 Microsoft Conference: XBox One X (Project Scorpio)

The E3 2017 Microsoft Conference Livestream starts on Sun June 11 at 2pm PST (5pm EST). From what I have read, details on the next console, XBox Project Scorpio, will be revealed there. It is dubbed the most powerful console ever. The video at the bottom showcases the console specs. It is a no-brainer that if Blizzard is developing new games for consoles, it is coming to Scorpio.

UPDATE: Project Scorpio is officially known as XBox One X, and ships on November 7, 2017. Costs $499. Get an email alert to learn when pre-orders open!

Some XBox One games will get a Free 4K DLC update for XBox One X.

The BlizzCon 2016 World of Warcraft: Legion What’s Next Panel revealed details about the upcoming Patch 7.1.5, 7.2 and 7.3. The panel was hosted by Ion Hazzikostas.

Narrator: Welcome to the World of Warcraft: Legion What’s Next panel.

Hazzikostas: Hello, Blizzcon! I love it. This is the best time of year. Thank you all so much for coming out coming all this way from across the country, from across the world to celebrate the community that we’ve built together, and to learn about what’s coming next at some of your favorite Blizzard games.

So I know sometimes you might be hoping that you are going to be in attendance for the announcement of an all new expansion, but this is not one of those years, we are way too soon.

We’re working on one, of course, but we’re not going to talk about that right now today. Today is all about Legion, and what is coming next for you, and for us, and for everyone in Azeroth.
