Blizzard Holiday Fan Art Canlendar Contest 2009

Artists stand and shake up your dusty pencils and coloring tools because Blizzard is kicking off with a very special fan art contest. How so? The winners’s artwork will be considered to be part of the 2011 Official WoW Calendar — say whoa? That’s an impressive resume highlight for any artist to get their artwork printed by the best game studios. Check it out.

We’re honored to have so many talented artists among the ranks of World of Warcraft players, and we’re constantly amazed by the incredible Warcraft-themed art the community creates. [more] We’re so impressed, in fact, that this year we’ve decided to place some of your artwork in the 2011 Official World of Warcraft Calendar! We’re inviting players to create a piece of artwork that helps us set the tone for each month and season, using any major in-game holiday as inspiration.

The contest ends February 8, 2010, so get into the spirit of your favorite in-game holiday and let your cup of creativity flow over! See the contest page for full details.
