The BlizzCon 2026 World of Warcraft: Deep Dive Panel Transcript covers new features such as Camping and new trade skill quests supporting the Camping system, new trade skill recipes shown onscreen, Transmog on/off toggle, and the Legacy System.
The Legacy system includes Legacy Challenges, which look similar to a Lite version of the Achievements system. The kicker? The Legacy Challenges do something special with the points earned (something the retail’s Achievement System lacks). You can put those points into a Legacy Tree for interesting pathways: Professions, Adventure, or Resourcefulness.

BlizzCon 2026 World of Warcraft: Forever Deep Dive Panel Transcript
Clay Stone: Hello, BlizzCon. How’s everybody doing? Good weekend so far? My name is Clay Stone. If we didn’t meet yesterday, I am the Associate Production Director of the World of Warcraft Classic and the World of Warcraft: Forever team. Welcome to the World of Warcraft: Forever Deep Dive panel.

I would just like to call out this is our first of four World of Warcraft: Forever panels today. If you are looking to hear more about World of Warcraft: Forever lore, things like our Skyborne elves and how they fit into this Classic vanilla lore, I urge you to make it to the Deep Dive panel on this very stage this afternoon.
So far, we’ve had the chance to very lightly introduce you to just some of World of Warcraft: Forever. It’s new zones, dungeons, a couple of systems, and the pillars by which we are building this game. And for those of you here at BlizzCon, I hope you had the chance to try the demo on the show floor and experience the start of the leveling journey of the game’s new race, the Skyborne.
Or taken on our all-new Classic dungeons, the Drowned City, with a few friends. And that’s a fine introduction to World of Warcraft: Forever. But if you are here at this particular panel or watching from home, we know that you don’t just want the highlights; you want to go deep into more of the additions, changes, and updates, and perhaps the philosophical reasons why of World of Warcraft: Forever’s massive scope.
Today, we’ll take a look at new features, things like our new Camping System, additions to Trade Skills, our big improvements to how our Realm infrastructure works, as well as Combat Items, Classes, Talents, and more.
Now, to get us started, please help me welcome to the stage someone who needs very little introduction to this crowd. Our senior designer and narrative point of World of Warcraft: Forever, Josh Greenfield, or as you know him: Aggrend.
