After six years of hiatus, trapped within the Nightmare, Archdruid Malfurion Stormrage is back to business in Azeroth. Your first sighting of him will be at the center of the tornado of Darkshore, and lastly in Mount Hyjal.
But … when and how did he return from the Emerald Nightmare? Many fans who don’t read the novels will have this self-question in their minds when they see Malfurion and don’t find any quest explaining his return.
All your questions are revealed in World of Warcraft: Stormrage — the three-time Locus Magazine Bestseller by New York Times Bestseller author Richard A. Knaak. It was released back on February 2010.
Couldn’t find the novel online or at a local bookstore? Try again. World of Warcraft: Stormrage went for another round at printing, and is available again.
Richard A. Knaak opened an Amazon store with all his Blizzard novels and Dragonrealm work.
If you missed them, he recently wrote two TOKYOPOP mangas — World of Warcraft: Mage and World of Warcraft: Shadow Wing, Dragons of Outland Vol. 1.
Update: World of Warcraft: Stormrage paperback is scheduled for November 2010.
Huh. When I posted that comment MD had a little blurb about how apparently Knaak was writing another novel due out in November. I was not referring to Stormrage.
