What’s so special about this year’s Wizard World Anaheim Convention for Blizzard fans?
Tricia Helfer
I did say it was Geek Time, didn’t I? Let’s start with Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica). She’s the new voice of Kerrigan the Queen of Blades in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and in the upcoming StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm expansion; and she’s hotter than [reality] by far. Wanna d– ohh, nevermind. That’s part of a song. Hi, Felicia!
Ask Tricia anything about her role in the StarCraft II single player. Just don’t freak her out with weird questions, and don’t get freaked out if she slimes you with some sticky green fluid. Take a photo with Tricia Helfer at the Photo Op booth 142 for $30 on Saturday, April 30 at 1:15PM. Get tickets for the Photo Op here. Photo Op fees do not include admission to the show. Tickets to the show must be purchased separately here. Note: Just in case, go to booth 316 on Friday to ask about Tricia Helfer schedule.
- SATURDAY, APRIL 30
5:00-5:45PM
TRICIA HELFER Q&A
Tricia Helfer – also known as humanoid Cylon ‘Number Six’ on the critically acclaimed sci-fi series “Battlestar Galactica”- is making a rare appearance at the Anaheim Comic Con, so don’t miss your chance to chat with this multi-talented actress and model! (Room A)
Jason Miller – Godhead
Jason Charles Miller is part of the alternative rock band Godhead, but he also loves to voice characters for anime shows and video games. He has been voice actor in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. He has voiced Prince Valanar, Commander Stoutbeard, Hagrim Hopebreaker, Terrath the Steady, Thalorien Dawnseeker, and Officer # 2 (StarCraft II). Fans may find him at booth 244.
The Guild
Felicia Day will be at the event on Sunday, May 1 at Room B for The Guild Q&A, and it seems fans can take a photo at the Photo Op booth 142 on Sunday, May 1 at 12:40PM with three of The Guild crew: Okuda, Thorsen, Caso for $80 — so you can date her avatar by paying a small subscription fee. Darn, I really have that song stuck in my brainz. Get the Photo Op tickets here.
- SUNDAY, MAY 1
THE GUILD Q&A
“The Guild” stars Amy Okuda, Vincent Caso and Robin Thorsen sit down to talk about the popular web series, and dish about all of the behind-the-scenes drama that you never saw on-screen. (Room B)
Blizzard Entertainment
A couple months ago I posted Eight Blizzard Entertainment Artists will be at the Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con signing artwork for fans. This is your reminder. You can meet and greet them at the event, so bring your WoW TCG, comic books, posters, and products to be signed by them. Among the artists are: Thomas Denmark (WoW TCG: Feast of Winter Veil), Cole Eastburn (Blizzard Texture/concept artist), Lucas Graciano (WoW TCG), Michael C. Hayes, Glenn Rane (Blizzard Art Director, Creative Development), Trent Kaniuga (Blizzard Sr Concept Artist, WoW TCG), Mike “Daarken” Lim, Jonboy Meyers (WoW TCG), and Tony Washington (DC Comics, colorist of World of Warcraft # 21-25, Ashbringer, and Curse of the Worgen).
Eyes are set on DC Comics who is yet to reveal details of the World of Warcraft and StarCraft graphic novels. Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con and San Diego Comic Con are the ideal platforms where to unveil an official announcement and previews.
You will find each artist at the following booths:
Glenn Rane – booth 1116
Lucas Graciano – booth 1102
Thomas Denmark – booth 1110
Cole Eastburn – booth 1118
Michael C. Hayes – booth 1106
Trent Kaniuga – booth 1004
Mike Lim – booth 1112
