Gar’mak Bladetwist

Thrall: With the intelligence you have gathered we have learned this assault is being led by a powerful Iron Horde orc named Gar’mak Bladetwist. He is hunkered down inside Okril’lon Hold.

Killing him will not win this war, but it will surely break down the Iron Horde’s communication. This will buy us valuable time while we gather more forces and outline a battleplan to deal with this new threat.

Quest Objectives

Kill Gar’mak Bladetwist.

Gar'mak Bladetwist

Thrall: I will meet you at Okril’lon. We will take down Gar’mak together.

(At the third floor of Okril’lon)

Thrall: Lok’tar ogar!!

(Gar’mak dies)

Thrall: Gar’mak is dead. You fought well today. Meet me back at camp.

Thrall: It was an honor fighting alongside of you, (name).

With Gar’mak dead the Iron Horde will be in disarray until they appoint a new leader here on Azeroth. Although we have won this battle, I fear the war has just begun.

Gar’mak Bladetwist – Tips

No need to enter the Okril’lon Hold from the bottom. Avoid unnecessary aggro and killings. Fly to the roof (second floor). You may have to kill a guard there, but there is a door leading to the second floor. From there go upstairs to the top. There you will find Gar’mak Bladetwist with a servant.

Gar'mak Bladetwist

Thrall will spawn and attack Gar’mak. Go downstairs, and let Thrall get most of the aggro for a few seconds. Then you can hit Gar’mak. He won’t attack you unless you overpower Thrall’s aggro on him.

Gar’mak has a whirlwind ability that melts faces, so go downstairs when he whirlwinds to get out of range, then come back to keep hitting him.
