A follow up to the Pre-BlizzCon 2026 Unannounced StarCraft Game teaser has appeared on the official Starcraft.com website. When you visit the page, a transmission progress bar starts from 0% to 100%, then the transmission progress bar turns red and throws a Transmission Failure message.

The page starts glitching and text rolls onscreen. Here is the screen capture I recorded and the transcription.

NOTE: I was told the team behind this teaser used AI. So it is not as immersive and heartwarming as the former Project Blackstone transmedia that thrilled StarCraft fans back in 2013. Keep that in mind. I posted details about the first unannounced StarCraft game teaser in this Twitter thread (Sept 3).

Pre-BlizzCon 2026 Unannounced StarCraft Game Teaser

In the message, you will find the letters RLMC. This stands for Roxara Lunar Mining Complex. Roxara is significant to StarCraft lore fans. That’s the place where a Tokyopop StarCraft: Frontlines, Vol. 4 short manga story was set: “Fear the Reaper.” The story featured a couple of Terrans named Kern and Tiffy on a fringe Dominion planet, and a Zer’atai .dark templar named Lassatar.

This story took place in 2503, whereas the ARG transmission happens in 2575. The planet was an ancient Xel’Naga outpost with relics. Lassatar was there in search of a Xel’Naga artifact called a psionic lens, which can be used as a psionic amplifier. A dangerous relic, because it connects directly to the wielder without requiring a psionic potential to use it.

The StarCraft: Frontline Vol. 4 story: “Fear the Reaper” mentions a few factions and locations near Roxara:

Kimeran pirates
Dominion Tyrador VIII.
Roxara is a small Dominion colony in the frontier.
Gannemuck Prison
Paralta Moon Base
Raydin IV, a Kel-Morian mining world

There is a sequel short story titled: “In the Dark” published online, and later published as a collection of short stories in the book titled: “StarCraft II: War Stories.”
