Blizzplanet needs your Patreon support

Blizzplanet is a 14-year-old fansite with writers that are fans as yourself. There is no corporation or small business backing this website. Recently, hosting server woes after publishing the Diablo III Necromancer Summit, and the Heroes of the Storm 2.0 Summit content caused Blizzplanet to be offline for a week, and we were offline in April 6 for a few days too.

With that said, I decided to upgrade to a VPS hosting plan which is roughly 7 times expensier. Blizzplanet’s hosting is usually paid from the small revenue the banner ads and the YouTube channel generate, but it might not be enough to cover expenses moving forward. I was able to pay hosting in advance for 3 months. I don’t know what lies beyond that.

I hired someone to transfer the database to the new hosting, and he agreed to be paid back at a later time. So there is that, too.

We have a Patreon banner in each of our subdomain sites, where you can support Blizzplanet with as little as $1 a month, $5 a month, or $10 a month. I am open to suggestions if there is certain type of content you would like us to provide. I am also willing to do one-on-one private livestreams where you can ask me to show something in particular in current or future PTRs, Betas, etc. to those who support us via Patreon or PayPal (each supports credit cards).

As some people know, I have a disability, and thus I am unable to have a job to cover the expenses of this website on my own. For me in specific, Blizzplanet is a venue to keep myself busy, express ideas and feelings, and I enjoy building content for our loyal visitors. Blizzard games and video games in general are my passion since the Arcade and Atari days, in the early 1980s. Yea, I am age 44, nowadays.

So please, if you feel a connection, love or have enjoyed to read what you have found in Blizzplanet over the past 14 years, support us in Patreon to stay online.

Best regards,
