Faries: Now, secondly, for decades we’ve brought entire universes to life through our games. But the stories within them have never belonged to just one medium, and there are still so many stories we want to tell. And we thought it was time we brought those stories to life beyond gaming in a big way. Perhaps on new screens? After all, we are more than just Blizzard games. We are Blizzard Entertainment.

And in that vein, we’ve been working very hard to find the absolute best creative partnerships to tell even more stories. So while exciting things are underway across all of our biggest universes, today we are happy to announce one project in particular.

We are thrilled to share that we are in development on a new animated series for Diablo with Netflix. And as a big Diablo player myself, and as someone who loves the indulgent darkness of Sanctuary, I am very excited to see this project come to life. And Diablo, I promise, is just the beginning.

To our Overwatch community. To our Warcraft community. And who knows, perhaps even some of our other universes, just know that there are great discussions being had and trust me, while I begged and I pleaded to be able to share more today, I can’t spill the beans just yet. But I promise, as soon as we can, we will share more details with you. Alright, before I pass the mic, I just want to say thank you, again, to everyone here making these memories alongside us.

And my hope is that BlizzCon can feel like a sacred space where you can enjoy, you can make lasting bonds, and make this place and this community feel like home. Beyond that, my hope is that in our coming together in this way, we can remind the world why community like this matters so very much, why artistry matters, why creativity matters, and why making games and playing games together will matter always. Thank you, everyone. Have a wonderful BlizzCon.
