A Grisly Task | Legion Unholy Death Knight Artifact Questline

Revil Kost: Wet soil? Shallow graves? I think the journal is referring to the gravesites off of the lake near Karazhan. Nobody knows who is buried there, but they may be the key to finding the Dark Riders. You can… speak to the dead, yes?

The Grisly Task

Quest Objectives

Raise the dead buried in the Sodden Graves in Deadwind Pass until you find one who can point you to the Dark Riders location.

Location: Ariden’s Camp (Deadwind Pass)

Revil Kost: You must understand, I cannot be a part of what you must do. Meet outside Karazhan when you are finished. I will visit the church, and pray for the Light’s mercy on both of our souls.

Location: Karazhan (by the river)

NOTE: Click the graves (piles of dirt) near the river.

Forgotten Dead: Why would you bring me back here?!

The Grisly Task

Forgotten Dead: Join me in the grave!

Laith Sha’ol: No! The blade must remain buried! You cannot have it!

Laith Sha’ol: No, Ariden… why did you unearth that cursed blade? It must be retrieved. He cannot control the unbridled wrath within. Go to the catacombs. The curse must be lifted!

Revil Kost: The chill down my spine tells me that you must have met with success. What did you find?
