Quest Objectives
Obtain the Twinblades of the Deceiver from Varedis Felsoul in Suramar.
Intermission
Kayn Sunfury: Master, I will meet you at Krasus’ Landing and prepare a fel bat to take you to Suramar. Let the hunt begin.
Kayn Sunfury: Darksorrow, Ravencrest, you will have the honor to accompany Master (name) into Suramar. A small force will have the best chance of flying undetected into the stronghold.
Fly to Felsoul Hold: 1/1
Kayn Sunfury: Keep your wits about you, (name). Varedis will be a cunning adversary.
Stage 1: Stalking Your Prey — Stalking into Felsoul Hold.
Kayn Sunfury: Varedis is well-guarded – we need to take out the wards projecting that barrier. You have been spotted. Push forward – quickly!
STAGE 2: They Are Not Prepared — Dive into the fray.
Kayn Sunfury: There is no time to land. You must dive directly into the fray. Go!
STAGE 3: Wrath of the Illidari — Destroy the wards protecting Varedis’ personal sanctum.
Fel Commander Igrius: To arms! Lord Felsoul must not be disturbed.
Kayn Sunfury: The demons underestimate your power. Punish them for their hubris.
Fel Commander Igrus: Do you crave death, elf? Do you dare face my lord’s wrath alone? Finish the portal, damn you! We must protect the wards! Mo’arg, to the front. This has gone on far enough. Bathe them in hellfire. They must not advance any further.
NOTE: Two Mo’arg engage you. Use double jump often to steer away from the fel fire AOE that drops from the sky every few seconds, and to dodge the Mo’arg breath.
Fel Commander Igrus: You have gone far enough, mortal. This ends here.
Fel Commander Igrius: Your life is forfeit! Our numbers are infinite. Master… I have… failed.
Varedis Felsoul: (Name)… it’s been years. You should know better than to stand against me. My master has granted me many gifts – behold the power of the Deceiver.
NOTE: This Infernal spawns many fire elementals. Use Eye Beam for the first wave, and Chaos Nova for the second wave. Kill the infernal as fast as you can. It disengages before he spawns more.
Varedis Felsoul: Oh, Lyana… Illysanna… pity they had to die. Don’t worry, I’ll put their souls to good use.
FINAL STAGE: The Twinblades of the Deceiver — Kill Varedis Felsoul and obtain the Twinblades of the Deceiver.
Varedis Felsoul: I was Illidari once… left for dead at the Black Temple. Now you will witness the power of my new master! Behold the infinite power of the Twinblades! So, Illidari, you seek my head, that you might take the Twinblades as your own? Allow me to introduce you to their power… personally. Join me – unleash your true power. Xirus (Left Eye of Varedis): Unleash the Twinblades and destroy the interloper!
Varedis Felsoul: This is… not… over…

Allari the Souleater: The Twinblades are even more impressive in person.
