Huntress: Priestess Tyrande, thank Elune we found you. The undead are advancing upon the nearby Barrow Dens! The Dens seem abandoned, but —
Tyrande Whisperwind: There is one druid sleeping within them, sister. He is the wisest and most powerful of all the druids. He must be warned that the Legion has returned!
Huntress: Then we’d better hurry. If the undead overtake his Den before he’s awakened…

Note: Except for a camp of Murlocs (near the center of the map) there is no creeping.
Build a Wisp (W).
Select the Tree of Life. Upgrade to Tree of Ages (U).
Build a Glaive Thrower (T).
3 Dryads join your team from the east.
NEW UNIT AVAILABLE
Dryad – You may now build Dryads from the Ancient of Lore. Dryads are ranged attackers that are immune to all spells and have a poison attack that slows enemy units.
HINT – To build an Ancient of Lore, you first need to select your Tree of Life and upgrade it to a Tree of Ages.
There is a Gold Mine to the east of your main base.
Build a Wisp (W).
Build a Huntress (H). Build 2 Moon Wells (M). |
Go straight north of the Gold Mine, into the river, where you will find 3 Murloc Tiderunners level 1.
North of them, there is a Murloc camp with 2 Murloc Nightcrawler level 3 and 2 Murloc Huntsman level 2. Destroy their hut — drops Boots of Speed: Increases the movement speed of the Hero when worn.
Build a second Hunter’s Hall (H). Build a third Hunter’s Hall (H). Build a Huntress (H). Build a Wisp (W). Build an Ancient of Lore (L). Build 4 Wisps (W). Build 2 Moon Wells (M). Select the Ancient of War. Research Improved Bows (I). Research Vorpal Blades (P). |
HINT – Select a Wisp and construct an Ancient of Lore, which can build Dryads.
GOBLIN MERCHANT
There is a Goblin Merchant just north of that murloc camp.
- Scroll of Protection (R): Increases the armor of all friendly units in an area around your Hero by 2 for 30 sec. 150
- Gem of True Seeing (G): Allows the Hero to detect hidden or invisible units in the Hero’s line of sight when carried. 200
- Potion of Healing (P): Heals 250 hit points when used. 150
- Potion of Mana (M): Restores 150 mana when used. 200
- Scroll of Town Portal (T): Teleports the Hero and any of its nearby troops to a target friendly town hall. 350
- Wand of Negation (N): Dispels all magical effects in a target area. Contains 3 charges. Deals 200 damage to summoned units. 200
- Anti-magic Potion (A): Gives the Hero immunity to magical spells for 15 sec. 100
- Scroll of Healing (H): Heals 150 hit points to all friendly non-mechanical units around the Hero when used. 250
Kill these three Raiders. Destroy the crates. There is a Fountain of Health in this spot – stand next to it to heal your units simultaneously.
Raider: Strike fast! Ensnare them all before they regroup!
Grunt: Lok-Tar Ogar! For Warchief Thrall!

Attack the Orcish Horde base to lure all enemy units out. You can use the Fountain of Health while killing some of them. Cheap tactic, but works.
Destroy the crates near the enemy Gold Mine to loot a Healing Wards: Summons an immovable ward that heals 2% of nearby friendly non-mechanical unit’s hit points per sec. Contains 3 charges. Lasts 30 sec.

After destroying the Horde base, go north.
When the “Trees Protecting Malfurion” counter reaches 40 Trees Remaining…
Dryad: Priestess, the undead draw near the Barrow Den! Shan’do Stormrage will be defenseless!
HINT – The Dryad’s Abolish Magic and Spell Immunity abilities are very useful versus enemy spellcasters.
Send all your troops to kill Fire Protector (Keeper of the Grove). He summons 3 Wildkin level 4 and casts Sleep on a single target. Destroy the crates near the cave — drops Jade Ring: Increases the Agility of the Hero by 1 when worn.
Build a Tree of Life at the second Gold Mine. Build an Ancient of War (R). |
Kill the Ice Protector (keeper of the grove level 6). He summons 3 Wildkin level 6. Nothing in the crates.
Head northwest. Destroy this crate to loot an Anti-magic Potion: Gives the Hero immunity to magical spells for 15 sec.
Kill the Lightning Protector (keeper of the grove level 6). He summons 3 wildkin level 8. You might have to drop a couple of Healing Wards to survive the encounter.
HINT – You must slay all the Primal Guardians before retrieving the Horn of Cenarius.
